Matched pair of early 19th
Century American wood chairs.
A couple of repairs need to be made to make them perfect.
Each has one broken back spindle and the back horizontal
top piece has a couple of splits that are repairable
and won't be noticed. |

This silver-plated piece is dated 1906 and was found
in the Port Huron, Michigan area, which is located on Lake Huron.

This early cutlery box wooden
box of light colored wood
with a striped veneer on the perimeter of the sides!!
HAND DOVETAILED, 8 1/2" by 13" by 2 1/2" and is 3/8"
thick
on the bottom, sides and handle. Both the top and bottom rim
have curved (rounded) edges! Although the veneer has lifted
on several of the corners where the dovetail is,
it is still a sturdy and very usable box. |

The total height is 36" and it dates between
